Burning Man is held in the Black Rock desert, which is typically all mud flats in winter. Working out there in late winter one year back in the eighties, we couldn't drive anywhere during the day. All "roads" were bottomless mud or flash flooding when the sun was out. Travel other than rail was restricted to late night when everything froze. Rain plus above freezing temps there means no one's going much of anywhere.

No fan of Burning Man whatsoever. But even more aggravating is FEMA becoming a tyrannical body dictating when and where people can go. Isnβt this America? If I were there and they told me I couldnβt leave, Iβd tell them to stick it up their azz.
