I have never used an escrow service when purchasing a car. I see a few on the 'net when googled and they look pretty legitimate. I am interested in buying a Jeep Wrangler Sport and its from CA so I ain't dumb to send my MO to this person, but would an escrow service offer some level of security? Anyone used an escrow service can chime in. BTW...there are a few escrow service that offer many services, such as getting the car checked out at a reputable dealer and title search/mileage search etc etc. Also, this seller said he would ship to me, and this Jeep is pretty cheap but the cliche "too good to be true" keeps handing on my sleeve
Also, I know CA has a entirely different emission program, but if a CA Jeep was send to VA, does anyone know if this Jeep has to have its emission system changed/modified? This is a 2000 Jeep Wrangler.
Any help is appreciated in this matter...from thosed who have experience with escrow services.
