My pile of 110 gr. NABs is about gone. I'm replacing them with a pile of 110 gr. ELD-Xs.

I've loaded the NABs 0.05" back from the rifling and with a charge of 45.5 gr. H4350 for 10 shot string average MVs of 2,984 fps (24" barrel), and single digit S-Ds.

Anyone loading the 110 gr. ELD-X in that general MV area? I'm curious how far off the lands they tend to group best.

TIA

I haven’t seen the ELDs being fussy at all for me. Anywhere from right up to touching to mag length. They seem to be a very easy Bullet.

try some Hammer bullets but make sure you have the right twist bullet for rifle barrel twist the 75 gr. Hammer Hunter bullets shoot very well in my 257 Robert rifles.

Sounds good. There are some minor differences in OAL and BTO between the two bullets, but close enough that I'll likely use the same recipe and adjust from there.
