Selling a commercial action FN Mauser imported by Firearms International in the 60’s. It has a 24” barrel chambered in 243. Rumor is these button rifled barrels were purchased from Hi Standard from what I can find. The walnut stock has cut checkering with LOP at 14” over the pad. Again. Rumor is these are Fajen stocks. Leupold scope is a 6-digit with no prefix so pre 1974 manufacture. Very well taken care of for almost a 60 year old rifle. Not perfect but very good. $600 plus shipping for the rifle w/base and rings. $725 plus shipping for the rifle and scope.

I’m an FN whore of the worst sort. Let’s hope shooting it makes you reconsider the sale.

95gr NBT in Nosler brass, 34.5gr Varget. 210M primer. First shot was a fouler, just cleaned with Hop’s #9, went low. Next 3 are about MOA. Gave it about 10 mins and fired a second 3 shot group with no changes to load or scope adjustments. I think it needs to be loaded hotter and maybe adjust seating depth as it is a little horizontal. I have them seated fairly long.
