How was the hatch this year in SE Montana? I might have some time on my hands later this month. Thinking about a solo trip for a few days into that country.

Went out today for the 1st time this year. Found one bunch of 20 or so sharptails in the buffaloberries. Followed them up and got another chance. They are already bunching up, but the hunting was good. I missed the golden first weekend when they are still in family groups. It was a pleasant morning, we quit when the weather turned hot.
