Well I put a few of these over the chrono this afternoon. I think light conditions were giving the chrono some fits, but I believe I got a few legit numbers from a few barrel lengths:

3.4" - 1666
4.0" - 1775
4.5" - 1800/1826
6.0" - 1928/1947
16" - 2135

Yeah, the Glock 17 and the 6" long slide are pretty much in the same league as the FN5.7 as far as muzzle velocity.

Something I've noticed with this load is that it is pretty loud, but the recoil is very modest.

Very interesting. Please post the results if you happen to smack any critters with them.

I have been very interested in terminal results as well. Maybe we should just go in on the cost of a couple of goats and shootem.

Thanks for the info! I may order and chrono some standard pressure 9mm 68 and 90 grain XDs and see what happens.

Yeah, I'll most likely do another chrono test on a cloudy day, and color the bullets with a black sharpie. The numbers I posted up are probably in the ballpark, but kind of a compromised test.

I found these in Scheels for $14.99. Made in Montana.

It would be interesting how they compare.

I'm sure those 148's would dig significantly deeper.

The little 68gr at warp speed though, I'm curious how it would do against a IIIA panel, from the different barrel lengths.
