A local gunshop just got in a MINT condition Colt Python 6" blued. The grips are perfect as well. The shop owns this pistol so they may be willing to "deal" a bit on this new arrival.
The asking price is $2,499.00 (no sales tax in Montana). I am not up on pricing of the older Colt Pythons (as they have been a bit to rich for my blood of late) but I thought this might interest some CampFirer.
The contact number is 406-682-4210.
The shop is open 7 days a week normal business hours but 10 A.M to 4 P.M. on Sunday.
Or the pistol may be viewed on their web site = www.SHEDHORN.COM
Good luck if anyone is interested.

Addendum: I just checked the Shedhorn Sports web site and the Colt Python is not yet listed in their photo section - should be listed soon I would surmise.

JB in SC, TC1 & Cowboy77845: Thank you all for your feedback - I have a call ion to my friend out in taxington who collects Colts - he hasn't got back to me yet probably on vacation?
Anyway the gun laws out in taxington may prevent him from F.F.L.'ing that pistol back to him - I don't know.

Nothing special considering the blue 6” is the most common. As has been discussed here, the new production Pythons have had a negative effect on the originals in terms of value.
