That would be my first suggestion.

Avacado oil. Costco has it for cheap. Or bacon fat depending on what you got going on..

GEM salad oil is a blend of soybean oil, corn oil and olive pomace oil. The large cans indicate 10% olive oil. My mother used it for frying and on salads.

I've never heard of a problem with olive oil. Interesting.
Avocado oil or other fruit or nut oil, as replacements.
Stay away from seed oils, canola, versus others. Absolute garbage.

What would you use to replace it? Weird. Are you sure it makes you sick? Never heard of that. As for a replacement, that depend on what you want to use it for. Frying? Try lard. Salad dressing? Not sure.

I use a lot of coconut oil. Avocado is good as well. Those seed oils are horrible for you and were originally used to lube machinery until they figured out how to process them enough to sell them as cooking oil. Do your own research. I'm not going to argue the point here, but it is eye opening what this country allows to be sold as food.

I use a fair amount of American-made ghee for cooking. Great for eggs, and just today, frying up a batch of corned beef hash. Doesn’t burn like butter, but tastes much the same.
For salads, I suppose any cold-pressed oil would be ducky, but OO doesn’t bother me in any way, so OO it is.
RH nailed it. If more people knew how canola and other similar stuff was processed, they’d quit using them, or like me use them very sparingly for certain things.
What fresh Hell is this?
