I saw this sticker on the back glass of truck last week. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/tnO0cqIl.jpg) Pre-emptively letting thugs know there's no firearms inside worth stealing?  I'm not a fan of a lot of Kel-Tec products. But their SU-16 is worth owning. It's a piston action connected to a bolt that matches the front half of an AR bolt. I put a Vortex 1X scope on it. (my eyes won't focus a red dot) Takes AR mags. I bought it on a whim about 10 years ago, or so. It's not given me any reason to trade it off. Yay.

When school is out and I don't have to go on school grounds I always have a shotgun in the truck. But when school is in I don't. Felony to have a gun on school grounds. Not worth the risk It is my understanding that if you have a Texas CHL you can leave a handgun in your locked vehicle in the school parking lot, so long as it’s not in plain view. https://giffords.org/lawcenter/state-laws/guns-in-schools-in-texas/I have known three high school teachers who did this, I suspect most high schools in Texas have at least a couple of teachers who do. I keep a parts bin AR15 and three 30 rd magazines behind the seat. Iron sights, good shooter, 16" barrel.
