Rummaging around in the loading room cupboards, I found a coffee can full of forgotten 250 grain FMJ .45 Colt semi wad cutters. Then I found a misplaced box of ancient Remington 2 1/2 primers. Hot on the trail, I unearthed a couple hundred forgotten .45 Colt cases. They were in a butter tin with a note, “deprimed, cleaned, sized”. Next, I pulled out a third pound of 2400! Ahhhh, it won’t be a wasted afternoon after all. 😎

Good deal. Loaded up some 7mm rem mag with 162 eld x and Retumbo. 72.5 grains, CCI 250 Mag primer. Hope it shoots moa or better...

I'm jealous of that 2400. Can't find any. Scheels in Bismarck had almost every Alliant powder in stock this spring....but no 2400.
