Budget? Prefer short or long action? LOP need to be in a certain range? (i.e. 12.0 / 12.5 etc)

Belted magnums 35cal and larger, LOL

Like to keep it under 1k.. don’t really have a preference on short or long

I have 3-4 Steyr SBS rifles and they have spacers in the stock that can be removed to shorten the LOP. They are a little on the heavy side. A couple examples.

How about a Howa Mini in 7.62X39. Practically no recoil.

You might check Eurooptic. Com for a tikka compact in whatever caliber you prefer. I bought my grandsons both a t3x in 6.5 cm , have a light load that both guns love. They too have spacer that snaps in stock with butt pad . Super slick and easy. Tikkas shoot well, you won’t regret it!
