Will the older fancy Monte Carlo Vanguard stocks fit the new Vanguard rifles and the Howa 1500s?

They should - so far I haven't seen any changes in the internal stock dimensions. I do stock work but have only one Howa of my own and no Weatherby's. I'm sure there's been no changes in the receivers, but you might want to check with Weatherby regarding the barrel contours, especially with the newer over the last 2-3 years.

Will the older fancy Monte Carlo Vanguard stocks fit the new Vanguard rifles and the Howa 1500s? The NOS walnut stocks that GPC sells from back when S&W was the importer of Howa 1500s have been a drop in fit for the V2s and Howa 1500s that I've restocked with them.

https://www.gunpartscorp.com/They had a bunch of factory barrels too, at good prices. Stocks are on the last pages, 15&16 of the Vanguard stuff.
What fresh Hell is this?

Will the older fancy Monte Carlo Vanguard stocks fit the new Vanguard rifles and the Howa 1500s? I recently fitted a B&C stock to my Weatherby Vanguard S2. The fit was excellent.

I used a Howa bull barrel stock with bedding block on a standard old 300 Weatherby sporter I didn’t wiegh it , but it felt lighter and gave a perfect fit along with barrel fully floated It shot so so before , the original stock was snug fit from end to end , never understood that piece of thinking After installing it in the Howa stock , that thing hammered Often putting 130 gr ttsx’s in under .5” and never shooting above .9” It was a hard one for me to let go , powder being consumed just didn’t make sense for white tails Kenneth
