What works, what doesn’t?

Hidden costs?

Just looking for some advice.

Son has a Moultree. It seems to work quite well. I don’t know the costs.

I got the Moultrie edge. It picks the best cell signal for your area. The service is expensive but it works.

I have a Reveal and a Spy Point. Signal is better with the Reveal and it also has a slight edge in picture quality.

Bought four Spypoint micros three years ago.

One would take pictures pointed at a wall - replaced under warranty.
One bricked while updateing the firmware just out of warranty. It was the third camera I updated that night so I'm
pretty sure I did the procedure correctly.

One takes 6-8 photos every time it connects to the server to up load photos (currently set for twice a day)

One seems to still be working and I gave the other one away.

Not impressed with them....

Picked up Two Browning Defender Wireless Pro Scout last year and they work well enough that I got two more this year.

I have 3 Reveal Tacticams with their own solar chargers to keep the batteries healthy. Going into my 3rd season with them. No issues and they work where my cellphone won’t. Picture quality is ok, and there is the option of getting a hi-def re-send of individual photos if you see something that needs closer study.

Reveal here. Two years so far, so good.

Tactacam Reveal. Easy set up. Great plan for $100/year. Good quality pics. I like it better than my Moultrie.
