I can’t take food pics worth a schit, but tonight’s grub was anything but! Moose Lengua tacos with rice and beans. My wife wasn’t interested in being part of that experiment, so I made her some sockeye salmon larb (laab) with sticky rice on the side. Of course I loved both, but that’s probably why I can’t get under 200#s! Haha!

Boy, I'll say it does.

Moose tongue gotta be tasty.

Salmon laab? Are you Thai? Sounds like it would work and by the pics appears to have been a success.

White as the driven snow! LOL! I do love Thai food though. My coworker made salmon laab a week or so ago and I thought it was great. Had to give it a go!

Never made laab.

Might have to look up a recipe.

Chicken tikka masala last night.

Sauce was out of a jar.

Just wanted to know if we would like it or not.

We loved it. Proof of concept I guess.

Will make from scratch next time.

I like this one butter chicken with a few minor tweaks. And definitely marinade overnight. Huge difference from just an hour or so. Also, smoked paprika over regular.

Early dinner, salami, pastrami, cheese, olives (my fatass ate them prior to the picture) , and Triscuts. Homemade pastrami and salami was done by a buddy of mine.
