And I suspect the children she mentions are for a large part 16 to 19 years old. Nowadays they have started citing children and teens that get shot so they don't run afoul of a fact checker that is not left leaning.

Just reading between the lines here, what you are saying is that lawyers tend to be crooks and they intentionally do things that they know might be ruled unconstitutional ? Or at least leftist (democRAT) leaning lawyers will do these things.

Well, having lived under her and her Democrat demagogue colleagues in the NM Legislature, I can assure you that she is just that stupid. The hubris in this midget tyrant is almost unbelievable. She tasted power and control when Covid hit with her mandates and demands, then used the NM State Police to enforce them when local LEOs refused.

I have no illusions that this will end her career. The people that elected her know exactly who she is, and doubtless approve of her order. Libs want what they want, and don’t care how they get it. They think that only the parts of the Constitution that they agree with are binding. Those folks will vote for her again, and only an increased voter turnout of Republicans will keep her from re-election
