I recently saw a 20 gauge single shot called a Moehller elite not sure on the spelling. This gun broke open and folded in half. It had a lever in front of the trigger guard to open the breech.Does anyone have any info on something like this??

Beretta made very nice folding shotguns just like you describe. There have been several cheap reproductions of varying quality built in the last decade.

As The Kid stated - the Beretta version is a nice one.
Hard to find pars for, now.
I've been looking for a buttstock for my FS-1, 28 ga, for a while, now.
Mine has been cut down - too short for me, darn it!
Grandkids like it, though.

I had a knockoff 20ga a couple years ago... Turkish, iirc. Mechanically it was fine, but I couldn't hit a thing with it. The stock didn't fit me at all, patterns hit about 3-4 feet high of my POA at 20 yards.

You shouldn’t worry about finding a stock, just sell me the whole thing. My boy needs it badly. He’ll kill more birds with the 28 and dear old Dad won’t have to spring for $1 a shot 410 shells!

This one won't fit? It doesn't say 28Ga, but, that doesn't mean that the seller knows that a 28Ga version exists either:

FS-1 stock

I had one of the Beretta “Companions” I think they were called. It was a 20 gauge. Stolen from me in 1967.

I have a Burgess like that, functions well, but has been rode hard and put up wet.
