That's when you eat two meals back to back.

Extra points if you've done a Thanksgiving Bang Bang.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Yes. I've done a triple bang. Big family requires the holiday circuit.

Thanksgiving is a Bang Bang, an all-day, non-stop stuff fest. First comes the giblets and neck I stew with veggies for the stuffing broth, then sampling of everything as it gets done, then the actual meal, followed by hunks of turkey and stuffing while boning out the carcass and cleaning up. Bits of this and that get pulled from the fridge when I pass by.

Many times on thanksgiving.
Mom would have our family meal around noon or one, and Carols Mom had theirs in the early afternoon.
I usually eat light on the turkey at Mom’s to save room for the ham at Betty’s, cause she always had great ham along with turkey.
Christmas wasn’t so bad, as Mom & Dad had gift exchange with the family after Christmas Eve Church. That left Christmas Day open for us to spend with Betty and Roy and Carol’s family.

Mexican GF when I was about 21.

Our family ate at 5PM usually promptly as that's when the old man wanted it.

Ate a big roast beef dinner at home, go over to GF's home, sitting watching the news or some scheidt on the TV with them all. They get up for dinner. I stayed.

Minute later her Mom comes in and says, "Come have something to eat". I explained I already had dinner. She went back to dining table, I could hear chattering.

Minute later GF comes out says "You have to come sit down and take a plate of something, anything. Dad won't let us start dinner as no one eats until the guest is served"

Oh well, I like Mexican food!

Freakin' Back East states and their "traditions". First Monday after Thanksgiving, now the kids with no family will be lonely in school that day as no regular kids are showing up. No Sunday deer hunting, we all in Church, or more likely drinkin' beer and watching the Steelers play the Titans ......blah blah blah.
