Lyman 500 or ohaus 5-0-5 beam scale .Either work for check weighing accurate loads .
Some quality weights are also a good idea . I like the Troemmner set in the cylindrical case .

RCBS 1500 Chargemaster electronic scale. It’s fast.

Currently a Lyman M5, registers a single kernel of the rifle powders I use it for. Will likely switch to an Autotriclkler with Autothrow before long to speed up the process, but doubt it will be any more precise.

^^^ same.

Older Lyman M5 with my auto Trickler I made. Works very well. I prop my phone up and use the magnifier app to zoom in on the reading due to these old ass eyes.

Old Ohaus, seems to work as well as when it was new when verifying with check weights.

Combined with a Redding 3BR powder measure, does all that I have ever needed.

I use a similar combination when I do weigh charges, a Redding BR-30 and an RCBS 10-10. I set the measure so errors tend to the heavy side. I've been at this for a long time and I've become very good at knowing how many kernels of powder to tap out of the pan to "align the lines" on the scale.

I find this faster than deliberately throwing low and then having to trickle up every charge.

RCBS 10-10. Little pocket size Frankford Arsenal digital scale for use outdoors at the range when adjusting the Harrell's measure when working up cast loads at the shooting bench. Darned if that little pocket scale doesn't jibe exactly with the 10-10, and both are spot-on with check weights.

Seem's my first scale back about 1966 was an Ohaus 505. Then went to an RCBS 505 which was also made by Ohaus. Still using an RCBS 505 and just went and looked and made by Ohaus. I have a small electronic scale I use to weight cast bullet's but truth be known I don't get along well enough with electronic stuff well enough to weigh powder charges with them.

Ohaus 10-10

Also have an RCBS 5-0-5 as a back up, and to verify accuracy of the 10-10 from time to time. Both are always dead nuts.

Lyman M-5, RCBS 510, Ohaus D-5 and an old Redding oil dampened. The last two are back ups

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I have a backup too, Tim. It's a 10-10 also.

Amen, same, same.

The only time I might trickle is if I am testing multiple loads with a few tenths increments. Then I will use the trickler for maybe 3 or 4 increments before I will adjust the powder measure.
