I have Adblock and simply right clicked on the widow pane where it was playing and chose to block that ad. The whole pane disappeared and the regular forum expanded to my full screen. Seemed way too easy, but it worked.

Free sites have to monetize somehow. Even then, plenty of people who are inclined have found workarounds to avoid ads.

Never seen it or any other ads for that matter. No ads on either my iPhone or MacBook while here. I use ad blockers on both, though.

Classifieds were plagued for awhile by some bullschit ad.

on my laptop its barely noticeable On my laptop it was taking up 1/3 of the screen. Very annoying.
