A wall back there was a lot of big to do about the Arkin of optics, so it seems that several people's been getting them how are they working out now after some time?

I kind of asked this because I'm in need of a different scope after switching stuff around on a fast twist 22-250. and I kind of want to try something different. I've got lots of leupold, zeiss, meopta, Burris burris , and a couple steinert. I kind of want to try something different yet again. maybe not quite so damned expensive as some of them there comes the Arkin question. how would people compare the glass for clarity and resolution to some of the others? as good or better glass than the swfa in the same power range?

I've got 3 of them in use, and an extra EPL4 4-16x44 MIL I'm not using if you need one, brand new in box, never mounted. They've been great so far.

I have a couple of these EPL4 4-16x44 MIL. The center dot is very small (to me), the illuminated reticle is on the small side. The elevation turret 3 set screws come loose after a few shots and when you go to make an adjustment no clicks just spins. Emailed Arken, was told to get some Vibra-tite thread locker, so far it works. Aside from the above it's clear, seems to track ok and eye relief is good.

5-25x56 EP5 here, so far so good. Like others have mentioned in many other posts, anything over 18x the eye box gets a little finicky. haven't played with the illumination yet. Tracks dead on, parallax set points aren't correct and slightly off but can easily view through scope and adjust accordingly. All in all, for what I wanted it for, works great. The lass is actually pretty good also for the price point. Oh and best of all, I bought it from Doug and caught it on sale for much less than advertised.

I shot a friends Tikka with an EP5 on it. Hitting steel out to 400 with heavy mirage. I left the range thoroughly impressed

I shot my EPL4 4-16x44 today. I put it on one of my AR's. I only shot out to 100yds, but so far I like it. I think I'm gonna have to get another one.

Just got my EPL 4-16, didn’t come with a battery, no problem have extras, insert battery, no illumination, swap batteries with another scope that works, still no illumination. Waiting to hear back from dealer.

I just bought one of the exact same brand new in the box from my member here. it did not come with the battery either no big deal. my understanding is batteries come in some of these added value packs or whatever it has other accessories in it. helps keep the price of the Scopes down and you buy the other stuff separate if you wish to have it. I got it mounted sign it in and still fully evaluating it.
