I am not connected to this company in anyway. I received an email from Graf and sons saying they have 303 Savage loaded ammo by Bannerman availible. $46+/20 150 GR PSP. As hard as it is to find some WW ammo I thought I would make this info availible.

Ouch, although that is cheaper than the 250 and 300 Savage ammo I've seen on shelves lately. 😬 Graf does seem to be a lot better about occasionally selling small runs of obsolete ammo and components than most of the other big shooting/reloading supply players online

Actually just rolled up a fresh batch of 303 plinkers last night, 130gr Speer FP over A2495.

What kinda velocity you getting on that? I've shot a pile of 30-30 loaded with Speer 130 grn fn's allways liked the way they shot in my TR commemorative 24" rifle.mb

Touch over 2000fps. My SR has a really overbore chamber and throat, so velocities run really low, plus it likes being babied. Regardless of bullet/powder combo, warmer loads all just fling bullets all over the paper.

Yeah can understand it. Everytime I close in on a 99 in 303 I ask the seller how the bore is and get a "well it's okay" then when you use a bore light on it and find out their okay means sh*t same as 25-35 m94's they were born in an era of cprrosive.priming and not took care of.. I figured out finally it would just be smarter to buy some 190 gr Barnes original fn bullets load them in my 30-30 to 303 spec and experience the 303 aura..mb

Mine has a nice sharp bore, the throat is just huge (.315) and the chamber is big from the shoulder forward.

It doesn't shoot the Barnes 190s that well, but I bought a few boxes just for the nostalgia factor. Good enough for woods hunting, but not as good as most of the other bullets I've tried through it.

It shoots Sierra Varminters great, but I hate loading the stupid things... finger pinchers. I switched to the Speer 130s for my play loads because they're easier to load and cheaper.

It also shoots 140 Hornady Monoflexes and 170 flat noses really well. It actually groups the MonoFlexes best of anything, but those are way too expensive for plinking.

The PPU 303 brass is pretty good stuff other than the one or two wonky primer pockets that seems to pop up in just about every bag I've bought. Never tried any of the 30 cal PPU bullets other than 110gr round nose.
