OP Beaver10 Campfire Ranger Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 23,506 Oregon	he might buy this S&W M&P 2.0 Competitor. And, he probably would have shortened the name to ‘S&W Competitor’. I stumbled into this pistol at my LGS when I was picking up a transfer on a different pistol. They had a generous sale price on it. So, I gave it a ride home. That was almost 3 weeks ago. Today I finally made time to break out some pistols and pretend I was JW. Here’s what happened @ 10 yards. Again, but cranking on it with a mag change. 🦫 Ran a mag through a couple of pistols I’ve missed shooting this past summer. One of my favorites. G45 Gen 5 The work horse. G17 Gen 5. This was the transfer pistol I went in to pickup. Curiosity Killed the Cat & The Prairie Dog “Molon Labe”

The Competitor is definitely on the light side being a soda can. I guess S&W calling it ‘metal’ isn’t lying. But it certainly isn’t steel. I was surprised when I noticed the front sight was a HiViz H3 tritium litepipe. It’s extremely bright, both outside and in pitch dark. Accuracy was as many reviewers have described out of the box.
