I stumbled into a little 405 ammo. WTH keeps this much ammo for a 405? Geez............There are some FINE old boxes in there that are going to look great collecting dust in the house.

I found 2 more boxes. Some of those old red Winchester boxes may have never been opened. I will have them scattered around the house collecting dust in no time.

Way back in my youth , there was a older gentleman that carried a 405 Win. He was part of the deer camp group my Dad and Grandfather attended in the NW end of the UP here in Michigan.

They used to razz him about putting lip stick on the bullet ,so he could watch it in flight ! Haha !


TB, CWD and Covid-19 , free so far.....

That was my understanding also. This was big timber/cedar swamp hunting,so shots was pretty close. Your ammo post sparked a cool old memory for me . It would have been 38 years ago since I met him.
