Wasn’t a feral. Was an old cow pony I bought off another ‘fire member. Rode him for awhile. But then his time was up. Neighbor was a rancher whose land abutted the Milk. I figured he worked cows on the Milk in his salad days, so trailered him close as I could get. Walked him to a high spot with a good view. Put him down and he rolled down into a tight coulee. Should’ve taken the halter off before he fell down the coulee. That was a pain in the ass.
