Made into a Lightweight Strata by Lex Webernick of Rifles Inc.
— 23” 10-twist barrel, maybe 200-250 rounds through it.
— Replaced original Rem bolt with one-piece bolt from PTG for beefier
Extractor. All Metal is matte black
(Both bolts are included)
— stock is on third paint job (no, this rifle is not beat up. I change
Paint jobs like my wife does shoes. See pic’s.)
— Scope is a Leupold VX3 HD, 4-14X40, CDS, ballistic reticle,
Matte black
(scope relatively new. See comment about paint jobs)
— Rings/bases are Talley Lightweights
— Rig weighs about 6 lbs now unloaded, unslung
— Wyatt box enables 2.93” COAL
— good trigger 2.5-3 lbs, crisp, no creep
— Very accurate
— 450 pieces new Win brass. Another 100 fired pieces
— 3-piece Forster die set
Would like to sell all AS A PACKAGE but will do so without the scope
YOUR FFL MUST ACCEPT FROM A NON-FFL.

New Win brass ……$425
Fired brass…………..no charge
4 boxes 140-gr TTSX..$120

The only data I will give per hand loads is that R17 is the powder, and the Barnes 140 is the bullet. I’ll let the buyer pursue from there. Suffice it to say > 3100 fps is doable.

Lex knows how to build a great rifle. I've had 5 or 6 of them....one of my favorites.

I should have added that I will drive a 100 miles in any direction from Sioux Falls, SD for a face-to-face and would consider more.

Hmmm…I’m going to have to collect myself. I’ve shot one of Lex’s rifles in 280AI. It’s the real deal. Too bad it was a righty.

I’m going to have to think hard on this one. It doesn’t help that I’m in SoDak chasing ditch chickens in a few weeks…

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
