We went there once for 3 days, that was plenty, no desire to ever go back.

Nope, not our kinda place. The only casino I've been in for years was for the restaurant.

Yep. Once. Honeymoon. 1999.

Wife had lived there from '88 to '91, blackjack dealer at Whiskey Pete's.

She was hoping I would want to move there, and I had three job offers for armed security. Couldn't do it, though. My elderly mom was still living, and had no family to be there for her but me.

I knew where I needed to be.

I passed through it on a motorcycle tour in 2010. Just a few miles north of town, they had Democrat crossing signs.

I passed through there one time back in 1975, never left the airline terminal. I have no desire to go back other than to see the Shelby Heritage Center.

Nope. Friend that lives in VA goes there every year, though. I have no idea why.

Used to love Vegas, NV in general.

Casinos at every busy highway on the line in the 90s.

Huge neon billboards 20 miles in the neighboring state.

20oz RIBEYE DINNER. $4.99!

Bait.

For suckers.

I/we would slide in, take their $5 steak, maybe drop my coin change in a slot on the way to the bathroom.

Back on the road with a pleasantly full belly and out less then $10, including "gambling" and a to go coffee.

What's not to love?

Yes, Nv and NM. Did a vow renewal and party 14 years ago. I was over Vegas a long time ago but we had a great time. We're not really gamblers so that is no attraction. NV dumbed down on prices during covid trying to keep the doors open and their clientele went way down hill. I'd rather go to LV, NM.

Many times.

There is more to Vegas and the surrounding area than gambling.

I’m not a gambler at all , but I’ve been a few times for meetings and it’s a fun place for a couple of days. Some of the most beautiful women you’ll ever see plus any other type of person in the world . Tour the strip , great food , play a little blackjack and make side bets at the craps table. Fun for a country boy once in a while

Yes to a couple of races. All I can say is a front wheel drive dodge neon and a hand emergency brake we’re a lot of fun when the parking garages were free. Alcohol may or may not be involved.
