Shooting clays is something I like to do occasionally. But I don't follow shooting competitive shooting. World records were never an interest. Trick shooting is only a sideshow to me. I do think Jerry Miculek is interesting. Love watching his videos. I always wonder how he got so fast. Now he seems slow after seeing this guy: Raniero Testa. Never heard of him until I ran across his YouTube channel today. Maybe I've been under a rock. Holy cow. Now that's some really fast shooting.
Born with pretty good hand eye coordination and a whole lot of practice. I saw Tom Knapp in person a few times. Impressive to watch
Twenty or so years ago, Tom Knapp put on a demonstration at our gun club. That man's skill bordered on the supernatural.
Nice man, too. He stayed and signed autographs for quite awhile. Signed my wife's upland vest and my cap. We still have them. Another positive role model for our sport gone way too soon.

Tom WAS a great guy !!! And gone WAAAAAY too soon.
Just think what he coulda done had he been shooting a Belgian Winchester instead of an Italian Mossberg (aka Benelli).............

I saw Knapp shoot, he was awesome but I think this guy is better. Actually I was sitting in a bar in the DFW airport after the DSC convention, and Knapp walked in. He ended up sitting with us and bought a couple rounds of Bloody Mary’s. An interesting guy.

Smoked like a freight train. Same with Byron Ferguson. Great guys. Awesome demo shooters!
