I have a consecutive numbered pair of NIB browning Hi-Powers. These were my late younger brothers pistols. They're from the late 90s and have 10 rnd mags.

Who makes the best replacement magazines for these. I might even try the new 15 round ones from Springfield Armory.

Thanks,

Mecgar is a good choice.

Following up the MecGar recommendation. I've got the 15 rounders and they are excellent.

When I bought my Girsan HP clone, I went ahead and ordered the Springfield-marked magazines from Mec-Gar, they make the OEM magazines for Browning, Beretta, Tanfoglio, and countless others. I have had zero issues with Mec-Gar magazines, period.

I have three of the SA-marked magazines for said Girsan clone, and they have given me zero malfunctions so far, but I haven't used them much yet. I also use their 9mm 1911 10 round magazines, again, flawless performance so far.

You can't go wrong with Mec-gar. Made in Italy, and many high end handgun makers contract their magazine manufacture to them.

PS Awesome guns.

My HiPower mags are also Mec-gar. 13 and 15 rounds. They are high quality and work perfectly.
