I just took receipt of a Miroku Winchester 1866 Yellow boy in 38 spl. It is a 20” bbl short rifle with round barrel, plain walnut. This particular rifle is gently used as was advertised. Slicker than a miroku repro 92 that I have. Not sure if that’s due to the toggle design of the 66 or if this one has been worked on. It feels like it takes less force to cock.
The brass receiver is definitely heavier than the 92 and while I haven’t compared side by side the 66 feels a lot taller in the hand.
The fit and finish of these miroku levers are outstanding. I don’t however have a uberti or other clone to compare.
It should be a fun rifle to plink with and glad I bought it.
