Hey gals and girls
I am looking for suggestions for an E-collar for under $300 It would be nice if it had a bark feature on it but not a deal breaker if it doesn't
The last model I owned was a lower end SportDog model. This was about 8 years ago. I don't recall if the model I had even had vibrate or tone features.
I am currently looking at the Garmin Tri Tronics Sport and the SportDog 1225X
Any suggestions would be appreciated, there are a ton of models on the market and trying to compare them all is a pain.
Thanks guys

I’ve had good luck with Dogtra collars for many years. Still running a couple of 2000 T&B I bought in 2009. They have collars sub $300. Dogtra in my experience has good support.

I have hunted with hounds for over 30 years. Tried different collars, Garmin is the only one I use anymore.

I'm running a Dogtra 1900S Black with boost/lock.
I love it. Easy to use. Charges really fast. Does it's job.

I have a mini educator and I'm very pleased. Has shock and vibrate mode. 100 different levels, 1/2 or 3/4 mile ranges. Small and lightweight charges fast, I'm very pleased.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations!
I ended up finding a SportDog 825X locally on sale for a price I couldn't pass on. I'm looking forward to seeing how it compsares to the model I owned a long time ago.

Seem's to me there used to be a lot of them under $300. I have two Dog tras and didn't pay $300 for either one. Both over 20yrs now and work fine.

My SportDog is 14 years old, and I'm still using the original batteries. It's tingle only, no vibe or beep. I just received a cheap...I mean CHEAP Chinese collar with all three functions and a wide intensity range, just to try out. It was $15.00 with the $5 coupon. I am amazed! I'm finding it works out to around 200 yards and has good beeper and vibrating functions. I'm using it as a yard obedience trainer, and so far it's been perfect. The battery life is so-so but good enough for a training session. It was $10 less than a new battery set for my SportDog, which is a true quality device. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BW493WL8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Come to think of it, why is a good collar priced over $300? Shouldn't be any harder to make than a good walkie-talkie.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.

I have 2 units I haven't used in years. If someone wants them, $50 + $25 shipping would do it.
