Thanks for the info. Most of the cutts pictures I looked at, the long end opposite the threads protrudes outward, the pic of the ones I have is opposite. Is cutts a brand name or a generic term.

These appear to be from a J C Higgins pump manufactured by High Standard. My Dad and uncle have/had these back in the 50's as I recall. I have my uncles' and can look at the model # if you want.

I just looked at mine and it is a model 20. Don't have a Cutts so can't comment on that but the tube on mine looks just like the one pictured.

Had a friend had one of those and they patterned quite good. He used to win turkey shoots with the long range tube.

These are POWER-PAC Choke tubes and fit some JC Higgins model 20's. I PM'ed you too. Thanks That is exactly what they are. I had a model 20 as a kid and traded it for 2 other guns. It was extremely accurate and a wonderful piece of machinery. I bought another 6-8 months ago and it is just like the original. They are both the deluxe model. These shotguns are truly an undiscovered gem. This one will stay with me until I die. Jim

I've got my Dad's JC Higgins model 20. It's a 12 guage and a beast of the shotgun. Made by High Standard which a good many of the Higgins guns were and that is a plus. Beautiful machined parts and an awesome shooting gun. I think the POWerPAC option was probably great when the shotgun wads were paper but mine will often catch the plastic wads between the choke tube and the ventilated housing which required removing the choke to get them out. Not a big deal but annoying.
