2006 Dodge 2500. Quad cab. 8’ bed. 4x4. 5.9l Cummins. 156k miles. Auto tranny rebuilt 30k miles ago with the best parts money can buy. Original owner. No wrecks or body work. Some cosmetic bumps and bruises and paint (white) wear typical of age and honest use, not abuse. Small spots of rust in rear fender well. Interior fabric in OK shape. No tears or holes, just some minor wear and discoloration from use. Always impeccably maintained. Needs nothing mechanically and runs great. I would drive it across the country tomorrow. Pm and I can text more pics. No dealers. $25k obo.

Because dealers try to lowball. If a dealer is willing to pay $25k, we’ll then it’s fine.

My 05 was awesome, but my 02 was my favorite. Better than the new laramie 6.7 I got now. 06 was the cream of the crop. Best dodge cummins ever.

Too bad it is not a 6 speed manual. I have a 2001 2500, six speed, manual high output, 5.9. I love that damn thing, won’t be getting rid of it anytime soon :-) Sounds like a great truck! properly maintained it will last a long, long long time….

A dodge with a blown tranny at 125k? That's weird. 1. It’s not weird. In stock form, the auto tranny has always been the weak link mechanically on these trucks. It’s very typical that they go out usually between 100-150k. 2. My tranny was not blown at all. A simple low pressure solenoid went out. Not a big deal. But since I knew I was nearing the end of it’s expected life, I proactively decided to just rebuild and bulletproof the whole thing so I wouldn’t have to worry about it again. The last thing I wanted is a blown tranny in the middle of nowhere. So I sought out the best tranny rebuilder and put that worry behind me. Anyone know the name Mike Lovrich? Yeah, those who know, know! I’ve always been very proactive with maintenance on this truck and it’s never let me down.

I have two Dodge Cummins with automatic transmissions and two with six speed transmissions. The automatic was the weak link in those days. Both mine had to be rebuilt between 200,000 and 250,000 miles. With the upgrades available, I don’t expect that to be an issue again.
