Anyone ever done this? I'm headed up to the range (3 1/2 hour drive for me, one way) for the shooting test tomorrow and as long as I pass, I might get a chance to knock an elk down at some point in the future. Looking for advice from anyone who may have actually taken part in the process in the past. Stuff like what the terrain is like, odds of success and so on. TIA
