I personally do not believe in paying Tolls.

Some do... and receive benefit from them.

The Nickle ($0.05) Bridge (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boulevard_Bridge) in Richmond broke me of tolls many years ago.

Good luck to all.

I have my iPhone set up to keep me off of them when possible. Same for freeways unless long distance is involved.

Toll roads in Illinois aren't as annoying as they used to be. Used to was you had to pay at every booth. Now you just wait to be charged and pay online but they only get your plate number like every 3rd toll booth. Bureaucracy helping the common man.

Come drive the PA Turnpike!🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

$90 to drive 357 miles in a car or pickup.

$485 in a truck.

It's about half that if you have a transponder and deposit funds in their system to prepay.

Hate the fooking road. I can see it from the kitchen sink. It's our best road to go east and west from here. Captive to it if you want to make decent time.

The reason it's so stupid expensive?
A former governor set up a deal that requires the Turnpike Comission to give the Philthadelphia public transportation service $180,000,000/year. That's more than they could afford, so they payed what they could and borrowed the rest. As of this year, it's dropped to$50 million.

So if the OP visits from Texas, or Dutch were to ship fish to NJ,
they get raped for driving the Turnpike. So that an Urban Rat gets a
$1 bus ride in Philthy!

Yeah, Phooked up.

And the worst part is, pay all that and you're still in Pennsylvania.

Just the tolls to drive from League City, Tx a suburb south side of Houston across town to suburbs on North side cost about 10 buck each way. More if I’m pulling a trailer. Throw the gas in the mix for my 2500 ram and it 40-50 buck to drive across town and back. Still better than 45 or 59 I guess.

Thanks, Billy

A toll is a toll...and a roll is a roll.

If we don't get no tolls...then we don't eat no rolls!

I can drive a local tollway and dodge the camera by exploiting technological 'loopholes'.

No.
After 357 miles you are in Ohio or Jersey.
Sorry about your luck!😉
