No real story, just put a feeder in bow range until the plot takes. First cool morning which was nice. He missed one opening weekend. We were covered up pretty quick, in the stand by 7am and had a bunch under us by 730. He shot the biggest doe out of the group. She had a knothead with her driving her nuts, he grunted the entire time and she'd keep kicking him off. I finally got him to shoot sitting down, that's how my dad taught me. He stood up for the one he missed, and with the extra movement and having to hold the bow up before he got the shot, he just rushed it. But with this one, just had the bow cam sitting in the top of his boots until the shot arised, pulled straight back and that was it. Arrow stuck in her, which didn't surprise me only pulling back 40lbs but luckily there was a good blood trail and she didn't go 75 yards. Glad we made it happen, started getting hog pics the last couple days, they'll keep those deer ran off. Need to pop a couple, usually keeps them away for a few weeks.
Here's a little video of the setup before he shot
