Just drove by our Golf Course here in NE Michigan and saw the most unusual thing... Geese under a tree on the edge of the road, and I'm pretty sure they were eating apples!! Never would have thought!! Anyone else ever seen? Maybe apples were a little rotten??

I have not seen that but they will eat alot of stuff. Great birds, in a way its too bad they've become so urbanized.

They've always been pretty dumb just there wasn't near as many of them years ago. I remember Gene Hill called them the second most overrated game bird after the wild turkey. After several years of hunting both of them, he was probably right.

I drove by a slough on the edge of a small town and this flock of geese had walked out of the slough and were standing in a parking lot. I just laughed.
