Has anyone tried RL26 with a 168gr. TTSX? I am thinking it may be a little slow, but if I can get them to 2900fps+, I'd be happy!

I’d think you could get there with H4350 without much effort.

I have.
Unless you have a hot lot of RL26, you’re going to run out of case capacity or have a highly compressed load before reaching 2900 fps.
RL17 gets me 2950 fps with 168TTSX in my 24” Kimber Classic Select.

I wasn't overly impressed with Reloader26 with 168gr bullets.Moving up to 180gr and 200gr bullets I am.With 168gr weights,Big Game,the 4350's,Hunter and Reloader22 are my choices.All of them can get me 2900fps.

RL 26 is a dandy powder for the 30-06, but it needs 200+gr. bullets.
As others have mentioned here, the 168 TTSX and 57.5/H4350 is accurate and dependable.

Thanks for all of the replies guys! I have all of the above powders except H4350. I'll do more digging into these powders. If anyone has loads they would share with any of the above powders, please do! This is why I love the "fire"! Elk Country

4064 works great in the 30-06 with 150s. There are better choices for the 168 TTSX to safely reach 2900 fps.
RL26 works great at 180 gr and heavier.

I load the 150gr. TTSX bullet to just over 3000fps with 52.0gr. IMR-4064. I don't think it is the best choice for heavier bullets. EC

I just looked back through my notes: 30-06 Starline brass with H20 cap 70.2 gr WLR primers 168 TTSX 24” bbl (Kimber) with chamber just over SAAMI min 3.300” COAL 0.050” jump
RL26 (hot lot) 58.5 gr. 2730 fps 59 gr. 2770 fps 59.5 gr. 2810 fps 60 gr. 2842 fps 60.5 gr. 2870 fps 61 gr. 2880 fps 62 gr. 2925 fps 62.5 gr. 2949 fps 63 gr. 2961 fps 63.5 gr. 2986 fps (59 kpsi per QL) 58 degF
RL17 55 gr. 2847 fps 55.5 gr. 2885 fps 56 gr. 2911 fps 56.5 gr. 2948 fps 56.8 gr. 2962 fps* (60 kpsi per QL) 67 degF
* indicates the loads I currently use.
Interesting as this gun (and it’s twin sister) shoots the best groups in the 2930-2960 fps range with a lot of different bullets and powders from 150-180 gr. 150s with 4064, 180s with RL26, 165s and 168s with RL17 and H4350.
There’s also another node at 2810-2840 fps.
