Mr. Howell's advice is the best I've read so far... Seems to me you'd want the signs facing "away" from your property to inform the public...

I haven't read all 5 pages (sue me, I'm lazy), but if no one's already suggested it, a carefully placed Leyland cypress at the edge of your property, between your back door and the sign ought to take care of the problem in short order.

In some areas, in order to legally post property, the signs have to be spaced a certain distance apart. Maybe the spacing just happened to line up with your view.

Well I spoke to the guy's wife. I ran into her when I walked out on my property to see what else was going on.
This could have ended badly, her four dogs, two rotties and two huge mutts charged me, all agrowl, with me standing on my property, armed.
They thought I built the tree stands, I straightened her out and she did apologize. She told me she didn't think much of me letting the kids hunt on my land and would be talking to the boy's father about getting the tree stands torn down.
She turns out is a NUT. A self described 'beach'.
She's the one who flagged the line, in her words, "so I knew where my property line was". I told her I'm a surveyor, I know all about lines.
I did get some local history about the area and was warned about the noise the Mexicans (she does NOT like Mexicans one bit) will make New Years eve, I actually look foreward to it!

Bart, I was super nice, those dogs were making me nervous!
I'm still hoping for permission to access their land. I think I moved a bit closer, if only a bit.
I bought several of those Pepperage Farms Christmas boxes for people who got me something but I didn't get them anything, I'll send one over. Let's see how many flies I can catch with summer sausage.
