May watch some college football (Oregon vs. taxington).

Granddaughter #1 and I went out this morning for KY's Yute Season. It rained buckets around 0800. After that, a herd of gay gobblers came out in the field and displayed for each other for an hour or so. That was it. We were unbothered by deer, but she is undaunted. We're eating lunch and then going out for the afternoon hunt.

I am currently sitting in the American Airlines lounge at JFK sipping an Old Fashioned awaiting the next seven hour leg to Milan. Pretty easy so far.

Cock walk after work this afternoon. "Fixing fence...."

Should have bagged two but didn't even draw a feather.

I sat in the cool wind today and caught a ton of fish that weren't worth cleaning, Praise the Lord. I don't mind cleaning fish but I really don't mind not cleaning fish. I agreed to go bow hunting tomorrow evening.

We've had guest speakers in church the last two Sundays. Tomorrow our regular pastor is back. I'd rather someone I know tell me what I'm doing wrong than some stranger.

Got some vitamin D (sunshine)this afternoon, shot the 1911, and started a craft project. Cut out a map of state of Mississippi on rough cut pallet boards, intend to draw off the Delta region by wood burning tool or cut a piece of roofing tin in the shape and attach with carpet tacks. May make some as Christmas gift. Also intend to make the wife a Georgia O’Keefe type painting of a cotton boll on patina roofing tin for outdoor display. Several creative ideas. Split some red oak for the Kamota Joe. Wife vacuumed out the Rogue. Cooked pork chops, cabbage, creamed corn, field peas, cornbread muffins and a batch of GF Brownies. Dinner was great. Go to early church Sunday. Watched “Old Henry” last night. Great movie.

old colored guy around here drove a concrete truck.

If he poured a small slab for you ( no house or shop slab ) he'd float it for you for cash $. made it look easy.

On one hand, all he had was a thumb.

When he was young, he put his hand on a chute, someone dropped another section in place, chopped off 4 fingers....
