If you were a fan of the old school spy / suspense paperbacks (Frederick Forsyth, Robert Ludlum, John Le Carre, etc), check out I Am Pilgrim, by Terry Hayes. A big old honking throwback spy thriller. Definite shades of Frederick Forsyth, but not just a cheap ripoff.
The ebook version is currently on sale at Amazon and Google for 1.99. Easily worth the two bucks and then some.
