For sale: 99 Savage EG. born 1949 (IIRC) purchased recently but can’t keep it. It is drilled and tapped and includes a weaver K2. I’m not good at judging condition by percentage but it has to be between 95-98% condition. Asking 1400 + Shipping cost. I can text addition photos.

Was this made before Savage sped up the barrel twist to stabilize heavier (100gr.) 25 cal. bullets?

Yes I believe this rifle to have a 1:14 twist. Some say they have good accuracy with the factory 100 grain interlock some not. But specifically not the heavier 120 grain bullets out there. Seems the Speer hot cor 87 grain bullet is the bullet of choice for these. I have a box of factory hornady 100 grain that I would pass along with the rifle, but I haven’t shot it.
