She had headaches. Seizures came later. She was checked out after a car wreck at a local hospital. The seizure caused the wreck. Local dr prescribed her anti seizure medication. She had the good sense to seek a second opinion. It was found that her venous malformation begin to leak, causing the seizure, and was about to burst. I’m sure you realize what that would have meant. A competent surgeon removed and repaired this problem. 30 years later, she’s plugging along fine.

If you have any more questions, or we can help you in any way, please shoot me a pm. She works in the medical field and has a much better grasp on this than I do.

So you've had this for 10 years at least. So why all the drama?

Maybe the doctor should have checked your estrogen levels.

I love irony too!

Glad to hear things are working out Paul. Have you had that rotator cuff that you tore during your prostate exam fixed?

I have asked for a follow up prostate exam just to be sure that’s what caused it.

Last time he went in for an exam, the doctor was flabbergasted. He pulled out an intact long-stem rose.

He exclaimed "Paul, what the hell is this?"

To which Paul replied "read the card."

I really hate to wax serious and sentimental here, but I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to all who expressed concern and offered well-wishes. Especially those who exchanged PMs with me. Beneath all of the jabs and sparring that permeate this place, lies an extraordinary family of wonderful people*. I am grateful to have this playground and this community.

Does this mean I'm not getting a new bicycle?
