I have its predecessor, the Remington model 17. I'd love to kill a bird with it.

Yes the shotgun forum..they wax on and on about a plain barrel with a poly choke, bet they would crap their pants if they shot a nice one. Like a 16 or 20 in a 37r or the even rarer 37 T. Mb

Mine is a joy in the field I allways run an older shell or handload without a shot cup in the chamber for a bigger pattern on the first shot. Guess a guy could get the full choke run out but I will just leave it alone. Mb

Very nice!

Had it for sale back in the spring. Decided it wasn't costing anything sitting here so it can stay for a while longer.

If memory serves me correctly it's a '59 model, RD.

Really like my 20 gauge. But I haven't shot it yet and with no pad and this light, pheasant loads are gonna be...not pleasant.

Can't imagine that lasting very long in the classifieds.

I was maybe a fuzz high. Wasn't giving it away and never had any offers so decided I would keep it.

Please don't ruin it by putting a pad on it! The only thing a pad is good for is to keep it from sliding when you stand it up next to a wall.

Slip-on pads are much better and easier to install and remove now than formerly. I have several, for old guns with short stocks and light ones like my Model 12 20ga. Limbsaver has several sizes and thicknesses. About $25.

Love 37s look, feel, function.
Carrying
Carrying
Carrying
Shooting at a few animals.

But there is a price to pay for that lightweight.
They ain't for games! Dad brought his 20 to his first sporting clays shoot.
He was purple to his nipple.

Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
