Replacement for the POS LCP2 I’m tired of futzing with to make it work.

PSA has these on sale for $400, and there’s a $150 rebate from Beretta. Fits neatly in my pocket in a DeSantis pouchy thing. Sights are nearly invisible, but it points like my finger.

That's a good price after the rebate.

Back when I could see I had one and it shot way better than I thought it could’ve.

One thing to note, it has no extractor so when you drop the mag and rack the slide, there’s probably one still in the chamber.

Yup. Slightly different manual of arms for certain. Easy to tip that barrel up though.

It will seldom get unloaded, except with the trigger. This is my always with me piece, assuming it works, of course.

Very pleased with how it fits my hand, unlike the boxy LCP2.

This time around they had several models on sale including the Inox SS, but I like the extra half inch of barrel and the prospect of using a can.

PSA is a great company.

Doesn’t the barrel “tip up” when you depress the lever on the other side for loading or unloading a round from the chamber ???

At least it did on the old model version I had about 25 or so years ago.

And yes, the sights suck, but as you stated, the one I owned previously was actually pretty accurate and fairly easy to hit with. And also very reliable.

All that being said, I still prefer my LCP II in .22.
Mine has been Uber reliable, and also very easy to hit whatever I’m aiming at even with my “aging” eyesight.

My LCP II has been a problem from the getgo. Feeds and shoots well, but the slide locks back on a loaded magazine, and has gone from bad to worse. Been back to Ruger who replaced the stop spring. I dremeled the little tab that contacts the follower to a nub, replaced the recoil spring, and gently trimmed the ejector back a trifle. Nada. ThenI got Ruger to send another stop spring and recoil spring, replaced those, and still nada. Next up is removing the empty mag stop completely to eliminate that. After that, I’ll block the movement of the stop lever, making it stopless like the Bobcat.

Then, it’s the Shenandoah……

LCP 22s have been fairly problematic as a whole. Like so many Ruger products, conceptually they are good, but in execution they fall short.

Yes the barrel tips up and it’s a great pistol.

CT used to make a Laser Grip I’m told, but those are unobtanium now.

.22. They don’t list the .25 now. They do make it .32, and PSA had those for the same price. Right now, this one is $598, but others are still $399. Rebate is over 10/31 though. You have until 11/30 to apply for it.

My LEO middle son bought a used one while in HS. It was a model 21 ? if remember correctly. Super reliable and had the tip up barrel. As long as it was reasonably lubed,’mmmmmit digested any sort of .22 ammo we had lying around (if you have kids they consider your stuff their stuff). It goes for tools, fishing tackle, ammo and the like. If borrowed, never to be returned. Any way, it was my first experience with Beretta products and it impressed me. He’s almost 50 and kept it as a hideout weapon or pocket pistol. BIL had one also he bought for $100. He had his own business and carried large amounts of cash and used it also as a pocket pistol. He mostly wore shorts and was easily concealed in the pocket even while putting out merchandise.

Just added a little upgrade to the sights: blacked out the rear with a Sharpie and dabbed some Go To Hell Green nail polish on the front.

Neat gun but begs for a longer barrel, 3 to 3.5 inches , and better sights.
