Does anyone if I can buy a product called Muzzle Mace at a store or does it have to be ordered. I have had it with dogs coming after my dog while I am walking him. It is total lack of control by dog owners because they are right there! I could carry a club & take the dog out but I dont want to do that. My dog is big enough to take care of himself(85 lb. Golden Retriever) but when I yell to try to keep a dog off him, he backs off the other dog.

Get a squirt bottle (like for washing windows load it half and half water and vinegar, then addfour tablespoons of finely groung cayanne pepper. Squirt the aggressive dog directly in the face this mix will not hurt the dog but will cause them to back off right now. The smell of the vinegar opens the nasal ducts and the Cayanne opens the mucus membranes in the eyes it also tends to burn some the resultant loos of two of the most imortant senses sent and sight cause the dog to leave the area. After being hit a couple times they tend to stay away. Pepper spray while doing the same thing is a finer spray a winmd shift can bring it back at your dog or even you. Useing the squirt bottle is less expensive as well and give a lot heavier stream. If you want to really get them off use amonia instead of vinegar but that has a potential of permanent damage.White vinegar is better. Cayanne works good to keep them from Marking your yard to sprinkle it around where they have gone when others come and start sniffing they get a nose full, but you have to replace it any time it rains
