Have one thing to remind you of. It is the wheat field with tares. The bloodline of Abraham was in the land when Moses returned bringing the rest back. The servants of God (angels) know who is who. Gentiles are grafted in. Not all who claim to be Jews are Jews. God has made himself known to who he wanted. We need to be careful. Example are the Christians in Gaza. We cant tell wheat from tares now. We will see them get ripe.

To call some a Jew is to say they are from the tribe of Judah. Jesus was a Jew.

There is one theme that runs from the man to till the ground (Adam) to present day. God was face to face with Adam. When the world was filled with so called gods God went to Abram later Abraham to bring people back to the one God. Its not complicated. If you want to know who created everything you can. Jesus came as the example to follow and he was killed. People did not want God but those that did will have him. Its simple. He is still here and he still wants you with him. He has provided a way. All you have to do is want him. The rest will happen. He will guide you home.

Jews left Gaza in 2005. The so called Palestinians turned it into a terrorist camp. Those in Gaza are Egyptians. Those in the west bank are Jordanians. All this Palestinian foolishness is just a hoax started by an Egyptian named Arafat.

Judaism can be traced back to Abraham. God made a covenant with him if he'd follow the ONE God. God told him that his descendants would be enslaved for 400 years then return to that land.
God also said that the sin of the Canaanites was not yet full. He was referring to the various tribes living in what's now Israel. They worshipped a number of false gods, several of which required child sacrifice. They were throwing their own children into the fires. They were also sexual perverts including incest and bestiality. When God said their sin was not yet full, he was giving them time to clean up their act before he cleaned it up for them. It was another 500 years before the Hebrews returned from Egypt and by that time, God had had enough of the Canaanites. He told the Hebrews to utterly destroy them, to kill every single person. They got off to a good start in doing it but when they got possession of the land, they quit. They didn't finish the job of wiping out the Canaanites and left many alive in the land. That was their downfall. They started bowing to the local false gods and it never let up. From the return from Egypt clear up through the end of the OT, the Hebrews were worshipping those false gods. The OT is full of references to their pagan worship. God punished them by enslavements under the Assyrians and the Babylonians, then later the Romans. It's never worked. Clear up until today, they still won't bow to the true God.

Good sermon RC. To those that dont understand. A sermon is pointing out the truth to people that need it.

Add to that the reality that Israel is a type and shadow of the Church and represents all true believers who share the faith of Abraham that preceded the law.

They were never saved by the law and works or the keeping of a covenant. They mixed temple worship with pagan worship.

It’s good for us to understand the we are no different. We exemplify the same paganism and mixing of worship and affection. When we study that nation in the OT scriptures we are actually studying ourselves and the picture isn’t pretty. Most won’t acknowledge much less confess that reality but it is reality nonetheless.

The message is there for us so that we continually realize that we need and are fully dependent upon Christ for salvation.

You are so right, there has been conflict in that area as long as there has been time.

The Jews are fairly new to the area, the outcome of modern Zionism.

judaism was born in Babylon. Abraham or Moses would not recognize modern judaism. Nor are they related to the people today who practice it...

The clear evidence in the New Testament teaches that “Christians are not required to keep the law of Moses.” Period. Not only that, the New Testament also teaches that the covenant that God made with the ancient Israelites at Mount Sinai (the old covenant) has been retired. The book of Hebrews teaches that Jesus is our High Priest and that the New Covenant is a better covenant.

By calling this covenant “new,” [God] has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear (Heb 8:13). This text was written in the first century when most of Jesus’ handpicked apostles were still alive. And a few years later, in the year AD 70, the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed (just as Jesus predicted).

And from that day until now (for the last 2000 years), it has been impossible for anyone…including ‘real’ Jews themselves…to be truly Torah-observant. The temple is gone, the priesthood is gone, and the sacrifices have ended. Clearly, the old covenant (the Mosaic Law) has become obsolete and has vanished, ‘despite’ the fact that Heaven and earth are still here.

When you have "the jews are God's chosen people!" absolutely HAMMERED into you all day, every day, and all the "Christian authority" you know of teaches this (relentlessly), it's hard for most people to turn against this lifelong indoctrination.

The Old Covenant was between God and a physical nation of people. If those people did God's will, then He would grant them physical, temporal blessings on Earth (but if "My Covenant they break"....). It never really had anything to do with any individual's salvation, which, from the beginning of time til now was always by faith alone.

Bingo!! Abraham was saved by his faithfulness to God. Not by having Abrahamic blood. How can one read the New Testament and miss this.

It is not complicated or true.

The covenant is the covenant and God will honor it. He said so.

Ezekiel tells us what is going on now.

Isaiah 66 tells how it ends.
