For reasons not entirely clear to me even now and for sure not then, I ended up shooting dogs for a few people as they just couldn't. Not that I enjoy it - sorry Travis I'm not quite on that page yet - but I can do it if it comes to that. My friend came and shot our old ranch gelding who is buried in the yard. He said a man shouldn't have to shoot his own horse or dog and that's about where I am anymore. I was slated to put his down but it got better somehow and went to a new home. As Cash said though, it's a big deal for some kids so while I'd never deign to tell you how to parent your kids, you know them and know what's best. Funny my sister still remembers me having to shoot her cat more than 50 years back. It affected her more than me and again I liked the cat and wasn't super pleased to have to do it, but it fell to me and I did it. Best to you all tonight Jim and again I'm sorry about that. Dwayne
