A person can sell or trade his wares to whomever he wants. There are no written “rules” about an I’ ll take it. There are members here that I wouldn’t sell to if they offered me double.

The OP got a trade offer he is interested in, and can tell everyone else to fugg off if he wants.

I am sure you just put me on your would not sell to list. I just don't understand that WILL sell for or 475.00 not May sell for 475.00 The unwritten rules and ethics mean more to me than all the written rules I don't need written rules to tell me what is the right thing to do. That's the way I was raised and that's the way I will die. I am out of this conversation. I should have let this go and keep it between myself and 303 savage.

We all need to set some rules for selling om the "Fire" Everybody is different and lots of members get burned and butt hurt. I've had problem in the past, and tried to do the right thing. Ended up pissing someone off!

It is a tough situation when there is a deal in the works in the background (via PMs) and somebody comes along and says the magic words. Sometimes these things happen very quickly, before the seller can update the listing. Very easy to have happen with trade (instead of cash) deals, as they take time. It has happened to me on multi-item listings, where a better deal is in the works for a buyer to take multiple items, but then another potential buyer tries to snag just one of them. Unfortunately somebody is going to be sad.

Bottom line though is the listing and the goods belong to the seller and he can sell/trade however he wishes and to whomever he wishes. Lots of guys put right in their listing that "First I'll take it gets it" or something to that effect. And that's just fine, but it doesn't apply to everybody else.
