Emmer will be just another McCarthy maybe worse, HELL at this point might as well have Hakeem Jeffries I doubt he'd be anything like McCarthy. He'd be way worse. Dems are offering to vote for him for concessions in spending and rule changes.

Will the Democrats view him as someone who will be more conciliatory towards them (which I think he will.) If so they may direct enough of their members to vote for him to secure it for him.
Or will they hope the Repubs continue with their dysfunction and continue to politically damage themselves and not confirm anyone.
A bit of a "Rino in the hand worth an unknown in the bush."
Either way this whole mess started by Gaetz managed to completely change the narrative away from scrutiny of Biden and has worked out rather well for Democrats.
