Has anyone purchased or tried this new Chrono, Garmin Xero C1, looks like its taking off and on backorder from a lot of retailers. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/771164/pn/010-02618-10

I’m interested in one myself. I’ll wait for the online price to get under $500 with some good reviews.

I'm becoming very cautious when it comes to Garmin products. Their Alpha dog collars and transmitters quality has very spotty quality that seems to have gone down hill since they have cornered the market. And then when one considers their customer (dis)-service. A friend bought a brand new TT-25 collar that won't power up, Garmin "graciously" offered him $40 off on a new collar!

For someone who does not have an immediate need, I would wait a bit for users in the real world to share their experiences. There's always something that short-time reviewers are going to miss and glitches the manufacturer didn't catch. Ask Microsoft and Apple about that.

I got one ordered. Should land in 6-8 weeks.
I decided to chance Garmin’s first run knowing that if they work as advertised, it could be a long wait to get one coming later.
I’m not too concerned about buying a Gen 1. Labradar, using Doppler, has been around awhile. The tech is there, it’s just stuffing it into a GoPro sized package that made it appealing.
Time will tell.

Please write up a review on Garmin when you get it, it will help a lot of us decide.

Midway sent me an offer to preorder. My Midway account shows the back order. No word on date of fulfillment.

Screw that...I have paid for mine and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

It's HERE!!!!
Came to the mailbox yesterday. Might get to the range on Friday and try it out. I have a big backlog of loads to clock.
I am amazed at the compact size of the unit. Just the size of my palm, and about an inch thick. Pictures did not do it justice.

Couple days ago, I got my update from Garmin that it had shipped. Supposed to land Monday the 27th.
Fingers crossed that it will replace my Labradar. Size matters.

Just used mine this morning, didn't miss a shot. Too bad it can't save shot groups by naming them. My phone version is too old for app.
